  • Candidates desirous to apply for the Position of Jr. Secretariat Assistant in CSIR-IICT against the advertisement should apply through this Online Recruitment Portal only.
  • Candidate has to register with a valid Email Address and Mobile Number, by clicking on the "New Registration" button on the right side panel. (Follow the instructions in the "Candidate's New Registration Form" Page)
  • Upon successful registration, a Registration ID will be sent to registered email address as well as by SMS to the mobile number.
  • This Registration ID is important for accessing Online Application Form. Candidate need to preserve registered Email Adress and Registration ID till the completion of recruitment process. All further communication will be send to this email address.

Application Form filling

  • Before filling the Online Application Form, Candidate has to:
    1. Keep the scanned copy of clearly visible recent passport size color photograph. Scanned Picture requirements:
      • Photograph should be a recent picture taken after 01-Jan-2021
      • Picture should be taken in bright light and have full face view. The person in picture should face the camera and looking the camera
      • The face in the picture taken should not have sunglasses, head scarf etc
      • Persons wearing spectacles should take the picture with spectacles having clear plain glasses. Spectacles should not have dark or tinted glasses. The picture taken should not have glare on the spectacles.
      • Dimensions of the picture should be 300px width, 400px height (3:4 ratio) and maximum 50kb size in standard image formats .jpg/.gif/.png/.bmp)
    2. Keep the scanned copy of signature. Scanned image of signature requirements:
      • The candidate himself should sign with a black pen on a white paper and scan the image.
      • The scanned image should be clearly visible and should not have any image distortions in length and breadth
      • The scanned image should match with the signature made on printed Application Form
      • Dimension of scanned image should be of 160px width X 40px height (4:1 ratio) and maximum size 50kb in standard image formats .jpg/.gif/.png/.bmp)
    3. Keep following documents in PDF format (each document not exceeding 2MB of size) for uploading:
      1. PDF document containing certificate pertaining to Proof of Date of birth (Birth Certificate/ Xth class certificate)
      2. In case of candidates fulfilling reservation criteria, PDF document containing certificates pertaining to Proof of category (OBC/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Ex-servicemen etc) in the prescribed GOI format duly signed by concerned authority
      3. A single merged PDF document containing certificates relating to:
        • 10th or Equivalent (mandatory)
        • 12th or Equivalent (mandatory)
        • Other educational/ technical qualification certificates (if applicable)
      4. if applicable, a single merged PDF document containing certificates relating to previous employment/ service
  • Candidates can apply for more than one post, with the registered email address.
  • Candidate should fill the correct information and will be held responsible for any typographical or other errors in data feeding. Later no request will be entertained for correction.
  • Login with Email Address and Registration ID, to access the application form and fill the information.
  • The Online Application Form has 4 pages
    1. Personal Details
    2. Academic/ Technical Qualifications
    3. Employment Details
    4. Document Upload/ Final Submit
  • Candidate can Login any number of times and fill informatation in the above mentioned pages. He/She need to save/ update the contents to preserve the filled information
  • After filling information in all the pages and uploading the documents, candidate has to click the "Final Submit" button in the 'Document Upload/ Final Submit' Page to submit the application
  • Please note that once application is submitted, candidate will not have access to edit Online Application Form for any corrections or updating. Hence cadidates have to ensure that they complete the application form in all respects with correct details and verify it before submitting.
  • Upon successful submission of Online Application Form, an "Application No" is generated in the Application Form. Candidates are requested to quote this Application No. for any future reference.
  • Candidate has to select the 'Post applied for' and click 'Generate Application Form' button to take print of it.
  • Candidate has to append his signature at the space provided for it, in Application form, for the post applied.
  • Candidate has to send the "signed application form" with all required supporting documents along with self attested latest passport size color photograph to the address mentioned in the advertisement
  • Online Application Form without hard copy of the same will be summarily rejected
